The Mission of the West Hawaiʻi Bar Association
Founded in 1981 and located in the town of Kailua-Kona, the West Hawaiʻi Bar Association (WHBA) is a professional organization for attorneys licensed in the State of Hawaiʻi. The WHBA currently numbers 110 members. As a regional bar association, the WHBA primarily serves the area of West Hawaiʻi on Hawaiʻi Island, including the districts of North Kona, South Kona, North Kohala, South Kohala, and Kaʻū.

The mission of the WHBA is to serve the public and legal community of West Hawaiʻi by expanding legal resources, improving the legal profession, and encouraging interaction amongst its members. The WHBA works with other community organizations and individuals to advance its core mission.
